It is not yet known whether the Koreans will take the elongated Equus to the USA. Sales of short wheelbase versions will begin at the end of 2010.
Orders for long-wheelbase Hyundai Equus are already being accepted in South Korea. The prices are as follows: 135 million South Korean won ($114,750) for the Equus VL380, 146 million ($124,000) for the Equus VL500. This is noticeably more than asking for standard VS380 and VS460 sedans - 66 million won ($56,100) in the first case and 109 million won ($92,680) in the second.
